Normally I like Christmas stories and as long as it's Christmasy I'll enjoy it. This book had 4 short stories and I really only enjoyed one of them.

A Ranger for Christmas - I liked this story. It had a decent plot and I liked the characters. Although I didn't necessarily buy that they fell in love that quickly I still enjoyed it.

A Southern Christmas - This one was okay. Danielle and Sawyer were decent characters but I'm not sure why Danielle was so sure she was still in love with her ex since she hadn't even spoken to him in 2 years. Plus trying to break up a wedding isn't exactly in the Christmas spirit.

Christmas in Montana - I hated this one. Laurel was a complete spoiled brat who threw tantrums when she didn't get her way. She was mean to her ex and even admitted that she was the one who left him and he had never been anything but kind and loving to her. I have no idea why he still wanted her and think he deserved better.

Our First Christmas - This was an okay story but a woman about to divorce her husband and thinking she wants to move on to her sister's ex-husband who is her husband's cousin is so not Christmasy or romantic. Doesn't matter how it worked out because it was just sad through most of the book (not what I want from a Christmas story).

This is a AMAZING BOOK. I've never read any of the authors before, it was a impulse buy. I couldn't be more pleased. Wow, these stories made me cry happy tears. Loved loved loved it. All four authors are now on my to read list.
I enjoyed the first book- A Ranger for Christmas by Mary Burton. The other three stories I couldn't get interested in them
Four short stories of love at Christmas. A quick, easy, yet fun, read. Would be perfect for reading on a plane , train, or cruise.
Lisa's books never let me down. She is one of my favorite writers. Her stories leave me wanting more. I highly recommend her books.
Sweet stories for the season. Two were better plotted and two, I think, haven't been writing very long. I did want to smack a couple of heroins up the side of the head. But perhaps it's just me wanting adults to act a bit more logical. Yeah, it's me. Anyway it's a nice read for the season and if you're looking for a winter escape with happy endings you'll enjoy these.

Each story is very different, well plotted with interesting characters. These stories are what I would consider light reading, but also interesting enough to keep me reading through the last story.
So, I purchased this book because I wanted to read Mary Burton's "A Ranger for Christmas." Soooooo good. I had not planned to read any of the other stories. I am so glad I did. Each of the stories are wonderful, simply wonderful. All the plots, the scenes, the characters, the loved ones, and the love stories tell of real people full of their own doubts and judgments and joys. Each captured my attention fully. I even growled at my husband as he dared interrupt my reading of "Christmas in Montana." What a hoot of story and the aunts are a kick. The "hero" is just plain super and the heroine fits it all together, finally. Five stars of enjoyment with goooood writing all around.
