Her characters sometimes say things that are improbable, not what they would realistically say. The way they say them is often problematic, too flowery, formal, outdated. With developmental editing (and some work on word choice in particular), I could have given this story 4 stars. The storyline has uniqueness going for it, the first of its kind I have read. It has the romanticism of a fan fiction written by a teenager. The author could have done much more to strengthen the story and the characters, given the right guidance. However, I applaud her for being able to put it out to the world. If she were to keep writing, she could do so much better next time.Tags : Amazon.com: Because of Twilight eBook: Adele Bradford: Kindle Store, ebook,Adele Bradford,Because of Twilight,FICTION Romance Paranormal,JUVENILE FICTION Paranormal
Because of Twilight eBook Adele Bradford Reviews
This book jumps around. It makes no sense - the characters are not fully developed, and most of the time it seems part gothic/forced romance/painful novella. Twilight is mentioned a lot, Dracula too but everything really comes off contrived. It was disappointing.
It was good. It didn't have much to do with Twilight though.
Book was very good. Enjoyed it a lot I will look for more books by this author's books. It was a good vampire book
Because of Twilight is an excellent title, but other than a "hook" to lure us Twihards in, leaves us wondering why Transylvania became the chosen destination of this group of under developed teen characters. The sudden romance between the lead characters appeared to skip from open obnoxious interaction to full physical commitment within a very few days resulting in yet another teen pregnancy. The vampire issue as well as the romantic issue seemed to be too easily solved with religious intervention. All I'm saying is I love a good mystery with sexy vampires, not stinky old vampires who smell of death and contribute to the garlic myth.
